ncdh Group AG, Zurich (CH), has signed an agreement with HÖRMANN Industries GmbH, Kirchseeon (D), to acquire HÖRMANN Automotive Wackersdorf GmbH (Bavaria). Closing is scheduled for the end of September 2023. For the ncdh Group, HÖRMANN Automotive Wackersdorf is the optimal complement for the growth course of the Machines business unit. In Wackersdorf, the ncdh Group AG subsidiary coomuno will locate the production of electric drive and battery modules and heatweed weed control machines. In addition, the core business of HÖRMANN Automotive Wackersdorf (electronic/mechanical assemblies, e-charging columns) will be further expanded. HÖRMANN Automotive Wackersdorf (Bavaria) employs around 60 people and is a successful industrial and assembly partner for the automotive industry, among others.

HÖRMANN Automotive Wackersdorf GmbH core competency is the industrialisation and assembly of mechanical and electronic systems for the automotive industry and of charging stations for electric vehicles. HÖRMANN acquired the company from Modine Europe in 2010 and transformed it from a highly specialised production facility for passenger car cooling modules into a flexible assembly service providers for a wide range of assemblies and systems.
